SERAAP specialises in the design of innovative industrial solutions, with expertise in three key areas: design of special machines, Research and Development and product sourcing. Our history
A manufacturer of special machines and robotics for over 40 years, SERAAP’s history began in the 1980s with the design of special machines for the textile industry. In 2009, the story took a decisive turn when Jérémy BÉNÉTEAU, then Technical Director at ERAAP, and Louis MENANTEAU joined forces. Both had mechanical engineering backgrounds.
Located just outside of Cholet(France), SERAAP was founded by Michel BROCHU in the 1980s to develop special machines for the textile, clothing and footwear industries.
In response to the downturn in the textile industry in the 1990s, the company opened up to new business sectors.
Jérémy BÉNÉTEAU and Louis MENANTEAU take over SERAAP. Visionary and passionate, they quickly identified the market’s growing need for advanced technology. Together, they refocused the company’s strategy, giving it a new lease of life and a clear, forward-looking direction.
SOURCING business started up in Poland.
R&D activity was introduced in 2013 to respond to more innovative projects.
Construction of a new building, development of cobotics…

We approached SERAAP with a very specific requirement, which was to design and install an assembly line for the manufacture of slatted panels. We had already developed and tested an innovative product, so the next step was to find a partner to develop and produce this automated process.
